What is Leadership Lexington County?

Leadership Lexington County [LLC] is a 501 C-3 organization that identifies community issues and equips its graduates with the knowledge to help direct the future growth of this great county. The program is directed by a volunteer board composed of LLC Alumni.

Class Requirements

Mandatory overnight Entrance Retreat beginning at 8:45 am on Thursday, January 30, 2020 – Friday, January 31, 2020.

Classes will be held one full day each month beginning February 27, March 26, April 23, May 28, and June 11, 2020.

Only one half of one day can be missed in order to complete the program.

Should you miss more than the allowable half day, you will not graduate until the following year when the missed class can be made up.

LLC is a program that continues to give back to our community through annual service projects in our County. These service projects are chosen by the class and approved by the LLC Board. Active participation in this project is mandatory in order to graduate from the program. Specific project participation requirements will be set during the project approval process by the board.

Qualifications for Participation

You must live or work in Lexington County.

You must have an interest in the objectives of the organization.

All applicants will be interviewed for participation by a selection committee comprised of LLC alumni members.

You must pay the tuition fee determined by the Board of Directors.

This is a truly unique experience that you cannot get anywhere else. The friends and acquaintances that you will meet both this year and in the future will prove invaluable in your development as a leader.
